Dr. Jurman is a board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon who grew up in Dix Hills, New York. He earned his biology degree from Pennsylvania State University in 1995, his dental degree from Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine in 2000, and his medical degree from Mount Sinai School of Medicine in 2003.
After completing a rigorous four-year oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at Mount Sinai Medical Center, Dr. Jurman returned to Long Island, where he raised his family in Melville and joined Plainview Oral and Maxillofacial Associates in 2006 — a practice he has called home ever since.
His dual surgical and medical training provides an exceptional foundation for comprehensive care across a wide spectrum of oral and facial conditions, enabling him to safely manage medically complex patients with confidence and precision.
